Ventilators Part II: Advanced Management
Learn how to manage ventilation and oxygenation requirements through various modes of ventilation.
Intubated, mechanically ventilated patients have a myriad of ventilation and oxygenation needs. No two are alike. Clinicians use arterial blood gases (ABGs) and patient assessment data to adjust ventilator settings to meet the individual patient's needs. In this course, we will explore the use of patient-specific information to manage ventilation and oxygenation in volume control and pressure control ventilator modes.
