This course will provide insight into patient presentations as well as appropriate treatments for some of the most common vector-borne illnesses.

1 CE CREDIT - $20

  • Discuss the transmission of rabies and tick-borne illnesses 
  • Justify the care and treatment of the patient presenting to the ED with a suspected rabid animal bite and gain knowledge of rabies post-exposure prophylaxis 
  • Recognize symptomology while focusing on Lyme Disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
