This webinar will present the pros and cons to using various types of simulation to create a more immersive learning experience for your students. Levels of simulation will be reviewed and our with ED educators will briefly explain how they train their new graduate nurses up to their experienced staff using simulation. Multi-professional simulations also be will be discuss and we will end by looking the pros and cons of using 360 video and VR for training.

Brett Dodd is the Cedars Sinai Medical Center's Simulation Education Manager and an Education Coordinator for the Special Pathogens Response Team. He spent 6 years in the pre-hospital environment and has been a Nurse for 20 years. His background is emergency and flight medicine, disaster management, trauma, critical care, and education. In his current role, he coordinates, develops, and uses simulation to create highly immersive multidisciplinary educational programs.
