Review the anatomy of the eye and prepare to care for ocular injuries.
Ocular emergencies are common in the ED, and if action is not taken quickly, they can cause permanent disability. Emergency nurses must be prepared to recognize, intervene upon, and appropriately stabilize patients with eye injuries. In this course, you will learn about traumatic ocular injuries as well as the associated diagnostic and treatment approaches.

- Describe the impact of eye injuries on individuals and the community
- Anticipate diagnostic and treatment regimens for patients who present with traumatic eye injuries
