Have you ever cared for someone who was profoundly hypothermic or perhaps suffering from heatstroke? Unfortunately, temperature-related injuries can happen anytime of the year and to all ages. Emergency care providers everywhere need to be able to recognize and respond to cold or heat-related emergencies. This course will give you the knowledge and understanding to do just that!

Explain the underlying pathophysiology of temperature-related emergencies
Describe the appropriate interventions for heat, cold and submersion emergencies
