Headaches are a common presenting complaint or associated symptom everyday in emergency medicine. There are hundreds of causes of headaches, and while most are physically benign, they can significantly impact the patients' quality of life. A small percentage of headaches give rise to severe and perhaps devastating diagnoses. In this course, we will discuss headache presentations and a variety of headache types.
