Flight Nursing 101
Flight nursing is a dynamic field. It requires highly skilled nurses who are capable of managing both stable and critically unstable patients autonomously. This course describes an assortment of flight nurse positions including the types of aircraft used, the patients served by the diverse flight programs, and the unique work schedules of flight nurses. Finally, the requirements for becoming a successful flight nurse are detailed.
