Beth Estep is a committed and compassionate Nursing Leader currently the Vice-President of Patient Care Services/Associate Chief Nursing Officer leading the Metro division of ProMedica Health System in Toledo, Ohio. She provides direct oversight and management to the emergency departments and the ProMedica Medical Transport teams. In addition, she is a current Doctorate of Nursing Practice, student.
Her passion for education and leadership development to ensure excellent, inspired health care has helped her build her team to succeed. During her leadership as Emergency Services Director at Toledo Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma/Emergency Department and Toledo Children’s her team was responsible for improving ED Throughput Metrics:
RN turnover rate 10% improved to 2.1%
Left without treatment (LWOT) 1.5% improved to .8%

Lisa is currently the ED Clinical Educator for Children’s Hospital of Orange County. She has a passion for education and teaching which her entire team embraces. She participates as Faculty for PALS, ENPC and TNCC while working on her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
Lisa has over 27 years of experience including 18 years in Emergency Services. Her entire team has a passion for education and teaching, together they model a focus on Evidenced Based Practice and Patient Safety and Improved Outcomes. Their passion for ED Excellence has led them to two consecutive Lantern Awards and in 2020 Lisa was awarded BCEN’s Distinguished CPEN Award!
